Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Follies Bar is located on the ground floor of 34 Johnston Street. There is one small step to enter the venue (approximately 20cm) and one additional step going from the front to the back room (approximately 15cm). The venue has two bathrooms which are not yet wheelchair accessible.
The front bar contains high tables with stools, whilst the back room contains standard height tables and chairs. If you would like to request a specific table, please give us a call and we can arrange the booking for you over the phone.
Upgrading our bathroom to be wheelchair accessible is a key priority for us as our business grows and we become established in our current location. If there is any other way we can accomodate your visit with us, we would love to chat this through over the phone or via email.
Is Follies fully vegan?
None of the food, cocktails, beers or wines at Follies contain any animal products, including honey. Many of our staff are vegan, but many are simply open-minded, environmentally conscious, and know good food when they taste it.
Our veganism at Follies is about sustainability, so we welcome anyone and everyone to come and try our delicious food.
Is there a function space available?
Follies does not currently have a dedicated function space available, however the front bar can be booked for groups of up to 12 people. This space contains two high tables of six seats each and has lots of lovely natural light.
